The American Press Institute is offering micro-grants ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 and free expert support to news organizations seeking to strengthen their Election 2020 coverage. Their goal is to support efforts that promote communities’ understanding of how to vote and address mis- and disinformation at the local level. They encourage you to get creative and to submit an application even if your idea isn’t fully formed! The deadline to apply is Sept. 14, 11:59 p.m. ET.
